Roca Group remains in the top 1% globally and raises its score to 90 points, achieving its highest score to date.
Roca Group has been awarded the EcoVadis Platinum Medal for the second consecutive year, the highest recognition granted by one of the most recognised business sustainability rating platforms worldwide.
In this latest assessment, Roca Group achieved a score of 90 points, its highest score to date, consolidating the positive evolution of its sustainability performance and its position among the highest-rated companies internationally. The score improvement has been achieved across all four areas evaluated by EcoVadis: environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
In addition, Roca Group has achieved Leader status in EcoVadis’ dedicated carbon management assessment, the highest classification in this area. This result recognises the company’s maturity in the management of its emissions and in the integration of climate criteria into its sustainability strategy.
EcoVadis’ assessment analyses 21 sustainability criteria grouped into four main areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The platform has assessed more than 175,000 companies across more than 180 countries and awards the Platinum Medal only to the top 1% of companies with the highest scores over the past twelve months.
This recognition reflects Roca Group’s commitment to embedding sustainability across every area of its business.
“Being part of the global top 1% represents great recognition of the work of our teams and the sustained progress we are achieving worldwide. We understand sustainability as a process of continuous improvement, and this achievement reinforces our determination to keep moving forward, drive transformative change in our sector, and contribute to a more sustainable future,” says Barbara Urdillo, Sustainability Director at Roca Group.
EcoVadis business sustainability ratings are based on international standards such as the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact, the conventions of the International Labour Organization (ILO), the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards and the ISO 26000 standard. The ratings provide an evidence-based analysis of performance and an actionable roadmap for continuous improvement.
This recognition consolidates Roca Group’s position as a company committed to sustainable development and reaffirms its purpose of generating a triple positive impact on People, Planet and Prosperity.
