“English Summer Saturation is an immersive English programme in which you spend eight hours a day speaking only in English, including breaks and meals with teachers and colleagues. It’s a way to build fluency in the language if you have become rusty or to develop your use of expressions and vocabulary if you use it on a daily basis. My main reason for taking part was to improve my use of the language.

The opportunity to have such an intensive immersion in English is one of the strong points of this programme. As the days pass, you realise that you are much more fluent than you were on the first day of the course.

The teachers are native speakers with different accents. This means you train your listening and improve your pronunciation. They work hard to make the course dynamic and fun and are always thinking of new activities to make the training more enjoyable. There is a specific emphasis on negotiation as part of the company and this gives you the tools you need to get your point across in meetings.

As the course is in-person, you get to know colleagues from other departments that you wouldn’t normally talk to since you don’t work together. Very often, these relationships with colleagues prove beneficial to your job.”
