At RGCU, we strive to provide quality training aligned with the strategic needs of the Group. We want you to invest in your development and that’s why we are offering a reward for your commitment.
In 2022, we launched a competition across all our sites in Spain as part of our goal to give something in return for your commitment and development.
At the start of the year, we announced a competition with a prize for the site in Spain with the highest percentage of staff who had participated in training from our catalogue.
We measured performance on a quarterly basis by calculating the percentage of the number of people who received training as a proportion of the total workforce at each site. We provided updates on the results via email and an article on our SharePoint. Now that the courses for the year have all finished, it’s time to announce the winner of the prize.
The final ranking
For this first year of the competition, the winner was Royo Spain, where 47% of the total workforce participated in training.
As a prize, we organised a teambuilding activity in the form of a photographic Gymkhana for Royo in the city of Valencia.
The activity was an opportunity to reinforce the importance of working as a team, developing aspects such as strategy, creativity and communication skills. But most of all, the event highlighted the importance of enjoying what we do in order to achieve extraordinary results.
