Best practices: India Manager’s Bridge model learning journey (May–July 2022)
About the model
Bridge is a model that identifies four basic relational styles. Everyone has part of each of the four styles, but we don’t express them to the same degree. Each person has a preferred style, which is the one primarily used in their relationships.
Key benefits
The model helps managers to discover their preferred style and enhances interpersonal communication as the basis of effective personal and professional relationships. It helps to create a collaborative and positive cross-functional working environment. Each style has effective and ineffective relational characteristics.
Supply Chain Training
In 2022, after identifying a training need, RGCU worked with the Procurement Department to develop three global training programmes for Group employees.
The Cat Man and SRM training courses aim to provide conceptual and methodological support to Roca Group employees in Category Buyer and Category Manager roles for Management by Categories of Procurement and the SRM methodology, in addition to providing a practical and implementable demonstration of the knowledge acquired. The GPL training course provided the tools to address the challenges related to the function of participants and their communication style.
The three programmes were delivered virtually via the RGCU Moodle platform, in partnership with IQS Executive Education trainers. They were designed exclusively for the Roca Group.
